Your add-on assignment after hearing or reading President Obama's speech on Afghanistan is to do the following:

1) Outline the new plan Obama is putting forth to approach the war in Afghanistan
2) Write a personal response to his decisions or plan. (A paragraph with a stated opinion and support for your ideas)

After watching "Children of the Taliban" answer the following questions:

1) Why do children join the Taliban? Give specific examples
2) How has the war in Pakistan impacted children?
3) Had the military offensive by Pakistani army / US military drones been effective? Cite specific examples.
4) How and why does the Taliban continue to grow?
