You will be writing a 500 word essay describing your position on the present situation in Afghanistan.
Part I: Outlining 4 different positions concerning US involvement
Read each of the 4 position papers and outline / bullet / summarize the three main points given by the author.
1) Who is/are the authors
2) Give a general thesis of the author
3) Give the three main arguments of the author(s)
Part II: Write a 500 word essay describing your position on the topic.
1) Build a thesis with at least three forms of support
2) Write a well articulated essay defending your stance on the issue
3) Make sure you have a solid thesis and topic sentences
4) Proofread for fluency, grammar and make sure you avoid I, Me, My and That / It
5) Submit paper to Turn It In
